Regular Skill Training to Rural Youth

Aravind Foundation is a Vocational Training provider and provides skill training in several modules, Technical, Non-Technical and Soft Skills to the Rural Youth. Government accords the certificates to the successful trainees after assessments and examinations. Aravind Foundation organizes the placements / employment for the successful trainees.

Aravind Foundation is a Recognized Vocation Training Provider under Tamilnadu Skill Development Corporation Ltd, with Proceedings No. 2412/SDC-1/2016 dated 17/11/2016, a new entity created by the Government after the Skill Development Initiative under Modular Employable Skills (MES) pattern came to a close. Short term courses are conducted by the Foundation from April 2017 onwards under the new initiative.

Up - gradation of two Government Industrial Training Institutes in the Rural Area

Aravind Foundation involves in the up-gradation of two Government Industrial Training Institutes in the rural areas of Tamilnadu State hand in hand with Aravind Group of Companies, the Industry Partners with the Governments for the Development of the two Government Industrial Training Institutes. Both the ITIs have recorded excellent development in a short time providing with the Quality Training to the rural youth with sophisticated workshops, Laboratories, Smart Class Rooms with all facilities. Regular placement / employment opportunities are also organized for the successful trainees for their sustainable lively hood.
